I grew up in Vermont where the values of hard work and common sense were instilled in me at a young age. I stayed here and attended the University of Vermont where I studied Small Business Management and after graduation performed additional coursework in Accounting to obtain my Vermont CPA license. I am lucky enough to continue living in Northern Vermont which allows me to fully embrace the Vermont way of life.
I founded Sterling Accounting to pursue my passion for working with small business owners. I have combined this with my fondness of numbers and technical skills in financial accounting and here I am! I love to chat with business folks about their plans, dreams, and ambitions and to be by their side as they grow and succeed. My professional background includes experience working in corporate and public accounting environments as well as in internal audit. All this is rounded out by having grown up the daughter of a Vermont farm-boy turned successful entrepreneur.
